lighting system: headlights, fog lights, parking, backup, brake,
hazard, turn, license plate, interior and exterior lights.

Reset
Service Indicator.

Change engine oil and
filter while engine is at normal operation temperature.

Check handbrake function

Examine brake disc
surfaces and pad life.

Check brake
system connectors and lines for leaks and damage

Check outer and inner
drive joint boots

Check steering for
play, ball joint clearance, steering linkage, and rubber boots.

Check shock absorbers and
bushings - tightness and condition

Visually check fuel tank,
lines, and connections for leaks.

Check condition,
position, and mounting of exhaust system. Examine for leaks.

Check power steering
system for leaks.
-
Check overall thickness
of front and rear disc brake pads.
-
Grease wheel center hubs.
-
Check exhaust system and
mounting for leaks

Check all tire pressures
and condition of tires
(outer surfaces (left/right)), tread wear and pattern.

Rotate tires.
-
Check fuel system for
leaks and condition
-
Check
coolant level and antifreeze protection level; add coolant if
necessary.

Check
engine cooling system/heater hose connections for leaks.
-
Check automatic gearbox
oil level and condition.
-
Check
level of brake and clutch fluid in reservoir; add fluid if required.
-
Check
level of power steering fluid and check system for leaks.

Check drive belt
condition
-
Check
battery electrolyte level. Clean terminals if necessary.

Check
windshield washer fluid level. Fill up
and/or correct if necessary.

Check
wiper and washer system; wiper blades, washer jet positions.

Replace cabin air filter.
-
Check and oil: hood,
trunk/tailgate, door hinges and latches.
-
Check
condition and function of safety belts.
-
Visually examine the SRS airbag units for torn cover or obvious
damage
-
Road test with check of
driver train performance, steering, suspension and brakes.
Check function of instruments and controls, including horn, wiper,
cruise control and climate systems.
